"In pursuit of winter"

This video was filmed in Kolroy, as summer slowly slipped toward its end.

This shoot was done in Kolroy, in the heart of summer, while the vegetation was still in full bloom. The idea was to blend older pieces from the late 90's and early 2000's with more recent ones, like this 2013 Gyakusou jacket. The model, @pauline_crnl, also contributed to the styling.

One of the key elements of the look is this bag wrapped in traditional fabric, held together by tension cords originally used to secure a pair of skis paired here with the Salomon Desalpes in collaboration with The Broken Arm.

To go into more detail : the skis, which come from Sweden, date back to the 1950s, and the bamboo poles are characteristic of that era. The fabric covering the bag is a shuka, a traditional Maasai textile from Kenya.

The checkered dress is actually an old Puma shirt, thrifted the day before at a local village flea market for 2€. Pauline is wearing a pair of Salomon Inco Low from 1999, a model I’m particularly fond of, and one that has never been reissued by the brand to this day.
