Kolroy Review : Village PM Through my good old iPhone.

This is the newest French brand to emerge recently of course, I’m talking about Village PM.

Everyone’s been talking about it lately. It’s the brand that reinvented and revived the skate shoe in 2025.

Whether it’s jeans or grey sweats, the pair still hits.

They sent me their model, the 1PM, and I immediately tested it out over a few days. I got the camo colorway, which is probably the boldest one, and honestly, right after trying them on, I was all in.

Some of you might know that my go-to everyday pair is the Hoka Tor for its durability, comfort, and especially that extended lacing system that runs almost all the way down the shoe. That same feature is present on the 1PM, with laces that stretch far down the upper.

The 1PM is unique in that it’s a flat shoe, but with a super chunky sole. I’ll admit, when I first saw it, I had doubts about the comfort, but once I started walking in them, I was pleasantly surprised.

There’s a slightly raised insole with a sort of cushioned structure inside that actually makes the shoe really comfortable. Maybe not as soft as a Hoka Tor, but honestly, they feel great on foot.

Truthfully, it’s my latest big crush, I already know it’s the kind of pair I’ll wear a lot. The top view is just beautiful, and more importantly, it brings something genuinely fresh to the footwear scene.

Let’s talk pricing, this might be one of the biggest strengths of this model : just 120€. Compared to what we usually see on the market, especially from a new independent brand, offering such a competitive price is seriously impressive, especially considering their other model, the 1.30PM, goes for just 95€.

For those asking, I recommend going true to size. For me, it fits TTS. The pair is available now in our shop section !

See you soon for another Kolroy review.
